Job summary

Barnsley Hospital is seeking a Digital Support Midwife to work with the Digital Midwife in Womens Services. You will support development and optimisation of maternity digital systems, helping colleagues use technology to improve patient care, and provide staff training and user support.

The role also involves monitoring data quality, audits and contributing to digital transformation projects to ensure systems are safe and effective for women, babies and families.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with ongoing professional development.
• Teaching qualification or teaching experience preferred.
• Evidence of learning beyond registration should be shown.
• Experience using computing packages (ECDL/Office) and IT systems.
• Postgraduate management qualification or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and optimisation of maternity digital systems across Women’s Services.
• Provide staff training and user support for maternity IT systems.
• Monitor data quality and assist with audits and reporting to improve service delivery.
