Job summary

VanRath is seeking a Senior Business Systems & Digital Innovation Lead for a not-for-profit organisation in Northern Ireland. Based in a hybrid role, you will drive systems optimisation, digital process improvement and automation across multiple business functions, working with senior leadership, IT and external partners.

You will assess core business systems, lead digitisation initiatives, develop data and reporting frameworks and promote governance and training to ensure measurable value.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with core business systems.
• Experience evaluating systems, testing upgrades and implementing new system functionality.
• Strong experience in business process improvement and workflow optimisation.
• Experience identifying opportunities for digitalisation and automation.
• Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Experience delivering training and supporting digital adoption.
• Ability to translate complex system functionality into practical business solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working with enterprise-level business systems would be advantageous.
• Project management qualification or relevant project delivery experience would be desirable.
• Experience delivering cross-departmental digital transformation initiatives would be advantageous.
• Experience within the housing, public sector, regulated or not-for-profit sector would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the functionality of core business and operational systems.
• Identify underutilised functionality and opportunities to maximise existing technology investments.
• Conduct system and process gap analysis and make recommendations for improvement.
• Support the implementation of new system modules, upgrades and configuration changes.
• Identify opportunities to digitise paper-based and manual processes.
• Lead digital process redesign and workflow improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and management information.
• Develop and improve automated data and reporting processes.
• Research new technology and business application solutions.
• Benchmark digital capabilities and make recommendations for future investment.
• Support the development of business cases for new or replacement systems.
• Promote strong data quality, information management and governance practices.
• Develop training materials and provide support to business users.
• Deliver training and support successful adoption of new systems and digital processes.
• Work closely with internal departments, IT teams and external suppliers.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management and the Board.
• Support the wider Digital Transformation Strategy and identify emerging technology opportunities.
