Job summary

Boeing Defence UK is seeking a Digital Manager to lead and coordinate all digital output within the Product Support Engineering function. You will guide engineering data exploitation, toolset migration, and governance while shaping digital strategies to support programme delivery and technical excellence.

You will report to the Head of Product Support and collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders across the business to drive transformation and continuous improvement in digital

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain UK Security Check clearance.
• Significant experience in a digital or software field.
• Experience in an engineering data, technical systems or support engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Data Exploitation or related digital engineering activities.
• Experience working with digital tools, platforms, and transformation or migration projects.
• Ability to liaise effectively with Engineering forums, including tool councils.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Clear communicator with a proactive, collaborative, and improvement-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and associated business tools.
• Candidates must have at least one year of leadership experience or complete Boeing's Exploring Leadership course.

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital domain within Product Support Engineering.
• Coordinate Engineering Data Exploitation activity to support programmes and objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff in the digital Product Support domain.
• Develop and implement plans, policies, and processes that support digital transformation.
• Liaise with the EMS Tools Council and stakeholders on digital tools, standards and governance.
• Oversee toolset migration activities with minimal operational impact.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track digital outputs delivery.
• Ensure digital outputs meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital processes, tools, and methods.
• Support resource planning, prioritisation, and delivery across the digital portfolio.
• Develop, motivate, and support team members.
• Contribute to broader Boeing initiatives including STEM outreach.
