Role Title: Digital Transformation Lead (Business Architect)

Location: London, Farringdon (Hybrid)

The Digital Transformation Lead is an exciting new role and will collaborate and challenge across all functions. You will drive the development of ambitious strategic roadmaps, lead on upfront business and technical design blueprints, and guide the delivery of our transformation goals. You will be the link between strategy and execution, equally comfortable discussing big picture initiatives at board level and guiding specialist teams to resolve specific challenges.

In the role you will…

  1. Positively challenge and influence Commercial, Operations and HR Directors to optimise and deliver our transformation goals.
  2. Operate as a digital leader within the Commercial design team, demonstrating positive influence across a range of business initiatives.
  3. Develop and communicate strategic roadmaps through leadership and unification of departmental strategic design functions, covering impact to both business outcomes, benefits, risk and technical capability step-change.
  4. Guide the technical and business design and implementation of initiatives and in parallel develop cohesive strategies for future years, focusing on cost saving and efficiency.
  5. Direct the development and communication of initial design blueprints via Transformation and Strategic Design Authority to accelerate mobilisation and increase the chance of programme success through early planning and design.
  6. Guide and assure realisation of our integrated target state, managing change and acting as the authority on strategic design decisions.
  7. Develop a broad understanding of our business, systems and capabilities to make best-practice recommendations.

Key Skills & Experience

  1. Experience driving large scale digital transformation programmes within a complex environment whilst influencing decision making.
  2. You should be confident managing a large and varied workload. Prioritisation, multi-tasking and delegation are key.
  3. Strong technical knowledge with the ability to create logical architectures to communicate technical designs to both tech teams and business/non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Experience of operating architectural assurance and governance processes.
  5. Experience in project delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support.
