Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Strategic Development & Programmes Manager to provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of digital transformation programmes. You will oversee national systems, contractor services and specialist applications, ensuring governance, financial stewardship and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong track record delivering strategic objectives and organisational change.
• Experience of programme governance, business case development and benefits realisation.
• Excellent financial, workforce and resource management skills.
• Experience of supplier, procurement and contract management.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

• Leading the development and delivery of complex digital transformation programmes.
• Providing strategic oversight of national systems, contractor services and specialist applications.
• Ensuring governance, risk management and benefits realisation across programmes.
• Managing financial resources, workforce planning and programme performance.
• Leading engagement with senior clinical, operational and executive stakeholders.
• Managing relationships with suppliers, contractors and national partners.
• Providing leadership and support to Programme Managers and Business Analysts.
