Digital Trading Underwriter – Salary of Circa £30,000
We are currently looking for multiple Digital Trading Underwriter’s to join our Financial and Specialty Lines Digital Trading Team.
Due to our continued growth and changes to our team structure, we are looking for a number of Grade C underwriters to join our team who have previous experience of working in the digital or regional financial and specialty lines space.
A bit about the job:
Our team is responsible for digitally traded business led by our brokers, covering Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, and Group Personal Accident business. Additionally, we focus on building credible relationships with brokers.
We are looking for confident trading underwriters who are happy to be our team’s expert in one line of business but also have an understanding of our other products.
You will deliver excellent broker/customer experience and technical underwriting support in a fast-paced, multi-demand channel environment.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Proven experience in one or more of the following lines of business - Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, and Group Personal Accident
Excellent customer service, communication, negotiating and stakeholder management skills
Passionate about delivering brilliant customer service to build and maintain positive relationships with brokers to drive business growth
Confident decision maker, with strong initiative and high-learning agility
Ability to work independently, within underwriting authority, handling more complex risks and experience working in a team environment, conferring where appropriate

Starting salary of Circa £30,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
