Digital Trading Underwriter – Salary of Circa £30,000

We are currently looking for multiple Digital Trading Underwriters to join our Financial and Specialty Lines Digital Trading Team.

Due to our continued growth and team restructuring, we seek several Grade C underwriters with experience in digital or regional financial and specialty lines.

A bit about the job:

Our team handles digitally traded business led by brokers, including Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, and Group Personal Accident. We focus on building credible broker relationships.

We need confident trading underwriters who can specialize in one line of business but also understand others, delivering excellent broker/customer experience and technical underwriting support in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience in one or more lines of business: Cyber, Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Freight, Computers, Plant & Equipment, or Group Personal Accident
• Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive broker relationships to drive growth
• Confident decision-making, initiative, and high learning agility
• Ability to work independently within underwriting authority, handle complex risks, and collaborate in a team environment
