Job summary

JD Sports Fashion in the UK is seeking a Digital Trading Manager for JD IE to drive Revenue, Profit and EBIT by partnering with Buying, Merchandising and Digital Marketing to plan and deliver market activity.

You will own the digital trading calendar, lead key projects for the website and app, review weekly performance, and foster strong cross‑functional relationships with commercial finance, marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a business P&L.
• Confident working with large datasets and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics).
• Experience working within a Trading function.
• Good understanding of ecommerce areas: Merchandising, Content, performance marketing, Customer Logistics.
• Able to develop and upskill junior team members.
• Commercial brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan market targets and phasing with Trade Lead and Commercial Finance.
• Own the digital trading calendar for the market.
• Drive projects and enhancements for the market website and app.
• Monitor competitors for trends and developments.
• Create weekly trading summaries and daily progress updates.
• Review weekly performance and propose actions.
• Analyse daily sales to identify weaknesses and optimise stock.
• Track and report on slow sellers and opportunities.
• Suggest markdowns and promotions aligned with brand strategy.
• Sign off features/products for mailers and site with Merchandisers.
