Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting for a Digital Tools Lead to join a major HS2 Rail Systems programme in London, offering a hybrid working pattern. You will lead mobilisation, optimisation and support of digital engineering tools across complex design and delivery packages.

You’ll manage engineering design environments (Bentley, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD, ProjectWise) and drive CAD standards, digital workflows and CDE governance, enabling productive collaboration with Design Managers and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Digital Tools Lead, Engineering Systems, CAD Systems, or Digital Engineering role within rail or major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software including Bentley MicroStation, OpenRail Designer, ProjectWise, and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience supporting Common Data Environments (CDE) and engineering information management.
• Understanding CAD standards, digital engineering workflows, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams administration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience on HS2 or major UK rail infrastructure programmes is essential

Responsibilities
