Job description

Media Distribution is a dynamic division of TWDC responsible for the Business to Business (B2B) distribution of Disney+, network channels, and the full slate of movies and TV content produced by The Walt Disney Company.

Transactional Distribution is a key team within Media Distribution, responsible for the digital distribution of movies and TV content from Disney, Fox, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, ABC Studios, Fox Studios, FX, and National Geographic.

The team collaborates with digital stores like Amazon, Sky, and Apple across EMEA to distribute content via ownership and rental models (e.g., EHVL/EST and TVOD).

The Supervisor, Digital Stores Management (DSM), plays a crucial role in expanding Disney’s digital transactional business across major third-party digital stores and online retailers in the UK, GSA, Iberia, CEE & Africa, and MENA, covering both ownership (EHVL) and rental (TVOD) models. This position involves working closely with the wider stores management team to support partners in driving digital content sales. The role is based in London and oversees global retailers such as Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Rakuten, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting the creation and supervision of film & TV catalogue promotions across regions
  • Driving product projects like bonus features and bundles in specific territories
  • Managing TV release schedules for the UK & Germany
  • Assisting account managers with global accounts and ensuring system updates
  • Analyzing performance data for releases and catalog activities, providing strategic recommendations
  • Managing relationships with digital stores in the region
  • Supervising coordinators and interns to ensure smooth workflows and project updates

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

Supporting the creation, coordination, and execution of catalogue promotions in UK, GSA, Iberia, CEE, Africa, and MENA. Key duties include:

  • Understanding annual promotional objectives and internal sign-off processes
  • Leading editorial activities for promotions across territories
  • Analyzing promotional outcomes for future planning
  • Coordinating promotion plans and schedules
  • Managing TV release schedules and promotional activities in UK & Germany
  • Implementing bonus content strategies with regional and global teams
  • Communicating bundle strategies and tracking release plans
  • Advising on usage and release dates for bundles and content

Supporting account managers with daily operations, system updates, and ad hoc queries. Additionally, responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely analysis of release activities and providing revenue insights
  • Creating accurate release summaries with forecasts and content details

The Experience & Skills We Require:

  • Experience in an international environment, ideally in film and TV distribution
  • Proficiency in content planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Quick learner of product knowledge
  • Experience with digital platforms is a plus
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to react swiftly to changes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High-pressure environment adaptability
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • This role is office-based in Hammersmith, London, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote (Monday or Friday).
