Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure Ltd. is seeking a Digital Solution Architect to lead the digital solutions architecture across clubs in Europe. You will work with IT Design, Security, Data and Digital Engineering to deliver secure, scalable, mobile-first and hybrid-cloud solutions that enhance member experience.

You will govern architecture, design and roadmaps, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and drive innovation while optimizing the technology landscape to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Solution architecture and digital transformation experience in complex environments.
• Cloud, DevOps, microservices (Java/NodeJS) and Terraform IaC experience.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and prioritising competing demands.
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance cost, risk and technical decisions.
• Collaborative, agile mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role will lead and evolve the digital solutions architecture across David Lloyd Clubs. Working closely with IT Design, Security, Data and Digital Engineering teams, you will ensure our digital landscape is secure, scalable and adaptable to future business needs, while delivering an exceptional member experience through modern, mobile first and hybrid-cloud solutions. You will oversee digital architecture governance, solution design and technology roadmaps, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver complete digital solutions aligned to business strategy, security and compliance standards. The role will also play a key part in driving innovation, managing the digital architecture pipeline and supporting the continuous optimisation of our technology landscape.
