Job summary

In-Excess UK Ltd. based at Salisbury Head Office is seeking a Digital / Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team. You will design graphics, edit videos, and craft social content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to support our retail brands.

We seek a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong Adobe CS skills, eye for visuals, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns while collaborating with the team. Regular store visits will help capture fresh content.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite to create graphic design assets for social media, email marketing and website content.
• Strong knowledge of social media content design (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) including graphics, animations and short-form video.
• Experience in shoot styling for photo and video content and in video editing for social media content.
• Familiar with platform changes and managing multiple social media accounts.

Full Time Role - 40hrs per week |Based at Salisbury Head Office

In-Excess is a proud, family-run retail business, consisting of Garden Centres, Hardware Stores, and a growing online platform. We have been serving our community for over 35 years. Our success is built on friendly service, expert advice, and quality products at great value. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Digital / Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team at Head Office, which is based in Salisbury. This role would be perfect for a recent graduate or someone who is in the early stages of their career!

We are looking for someone with:

• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects, etc) to create graphic design assets for social media, email marketing and website content.


• Strong knowledge of, and interest in, social media content design (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), including graphics, animations and short-form video.


• Confidence and enthusiasm for shoot styling for photo and video content.


• Photo and video editing skills - particularly for creating engaging content tailored to social media – and experience using video editing software (Premiere Pro or CapCut).


• Understanding of social platforms and keeping up to date with changes/updates to each platform.


• Experience in management of multiple social media accounts.


• Basic copywriting skills for creating engaging captions and email marketing content.

Additional desirable (but not compulsory) skills include:

• Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar).


• Experience in paid social campaigns across Meta and TikTok.


• Hands on experience with PPC campaign management and Google ads a bonus.


• B2C experience with a proven track record of results.


• Ability to demonstrate a track record for growing social media accounts, fully managed by you.


• Experience analysing and reporting on key performance metrics for socials and email marketing.
