Purplex Marketing in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a creative content producer to turn studio shoots and client footage into high-volume short-form content across platforms.

You will write platform-native copy, work with AI tools to ideate and repurpose content, and help shape shoot angles and hooks while tracking performance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience running business social accounts with a portfolio of short-form video you’ve made or edited.
• Keen eye for graphic design with evidence of strong visuals in past work.
• Confident with AI tools in your workflow and open to automation to save time without sacrificing quality.
• Comfortable editing video quickly using Premiere, CapCut, Descript or similar tools.
• Strong writing to switch tone between trades and homeowners.
• Organised and deadline-driven in a fast-paced team.

• Help shape studio shoots: interview angles, hooks and shot lists for clips.
• Track performance, identify what works and feed back into strategy.
• Support paid social campaigns where needed.

We film one interview in our in-house studio and then turn it into a month of content: YouTube, Shorts, Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn clips, carousels and blogs. We’re looking for someone who gets excited by that ratio.

Purplex Marketing is part of Ascot Group, one of North Somerset’s fastest-growing businesses. We specialise in marketing for home improvement, building products and construction brands, from regional installers to national manufacturers across the UK and Europe. Our social team is moving fast towards AI-assisted, video-first content, and we want someone to help lead that shift.

What you’ll do

• Turn studio shoots, showroom visits and client footage into high-volume short-form content, using AI clipping and editing tools (e.g. Opus Clip, CapCut) to cut turnaround time
• Plan, create and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest for a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients
• Use AI tools (we use Claude and other LLMs across the business) for ideation, first drafts, repurposing and reporting, and help build repeatable workflows and automations the team can share
• Write sharp, platform-native copy and adapt the tone of voice from client to client
• Help shape studio shoots: interview angles, hooks and the shot lists that make clips work
• Track performance, spot what’s working and feed it back into strategy
• Support paid social campaigns where needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience managing business social accounts, with a portfolio or channel that shows short-form video you’ve made or edited
• A keen eye for graphic design, with the experience and previous work to prove it
• Confident with AI tools in your workflow, and curious about where automation can save time without losing quality
• Comfortable editing video quickly; Premiere, CapCut, Descript or similar
• A strong writer who can switch between a trade audience and homeowners
• Organised and self-motivated, happy working to deadlines in a busy team

Nice to have: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere), Vista Social or similar scheduling tools, Canva, Meta Ads, WordPress, an interest in the built environment.

Salary – Dependent on experience
31 days holiday rising to 36 days, including bank holidays.
