Job summary

Westminster City Council's Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) is seeking a Computing Tutor to deliver Cyber Security Level 3 and Software Development Level 3 in a part-time capacity, with potential evening and Saturday sessions at our Westminster, London venue.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3+ teaching qualification and possess relevant IT qualifications or deep industry knowledge in Microsoft 365, IT Support, Networking and Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience delivering computing/tailored IT courses to adults is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and online safety would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality computing tuition for adults.
• Plan, design and update course outlines and lesson plans.
• Coordinate resources and materials for sessions.
• Support learners to build confidence and digital skills in a digital-first world.
