Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Digital Services seeks an experienced, service-focused Support Team Lead to lead training and direct user support across a wide range of digital systems and enterprise applications.

The role will manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring services are responsive, accessible and aligned with organisational priorities, transformation programmes and user needs. It also leads proactive engagement to improve support and adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a complex service or digital support environment.
• Experience planning, delivering and evaluating digital systems training.
• Strong understanding of user support, service delivery and adoption.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and resources while maintaining standards.
• Knowledge of NHS, public sector or large-scale digital services desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering training and user support.
• Oversee training for enterprise applications and Microsoft technologies.
• Develop training strategies and delivery plans for classroom and digital learning.
• Assess training needs and align with service priorities.
• Drive improvements to user experience and adoption.
• Monitor workload, resources and service outcomes.
• Ensure training materials and processes are current and governance-aligned.
• Support new systems with training and guidance.
