Job summary

Pulse Group is partnering with a major UK retailer undergoing a digital transformation. This newly created role will build a reporting function from the ground up and lead a small team of Reporting Analysts to generate insights that drive business decisions.

You'll deliver executive dashboards and scorecards, define governance, and collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams as the business moves onto Databricks. Hybrid work in Reading two days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading reporting, analytics or BI in a digital transformation.
• Strong digital or eCommerce data background with meaningful insights.
• People leadership experience and ability to develop a team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau; familiarity with Databricks or similar.
• Ability to translate data into actionable executive insights.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the reporting and performance framework for digital transformation.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Reporting Analysts with clear priorities.
• Deliver executive dashboards and scorecards trusted by senior leaders.
• Partner with Data Engineering/Platform teams on data quality and availability.
• Oversee reporting in Power BI and Tableau; drive automation and governed self-service.
• Translate complex data into clear stories for technical and non-technical audiences.
