Qualifications

Venn Group is working with an NHS Trust to recruit an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead a critical programme of work focused on migrating IT services from a neighbouring NHS Trust. This is a high-profile opportunity to make a direct impact on the delivery of care within the South East region.

Hybrid role

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of the IT migration project.
2. Manage risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Monitor project progress and produce regular reports for executive stakeholders.
4. Attend and participate in groups, including senior Trust meetings, where decisions are required.
5. Raise and maintain the profile and priority of Digital Services, the Digital Portfolio, and other Digital Transformation/Services Programmes/Projects within the Trust through discussions, meetings, negotiations, and participation.

Candidate profile:

• Proven track record of delivering complex IT/digital projects within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment.
• Strong experience with system migrations, ideally within an NHS or public sector setting.
• Excellent project management skills with knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, or similar methodologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience in insourcing or outsourcing a service.
• Strong understanding of information governance, data protection, and clinical safety standards.
