At Trinny London, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Digital Product Owner to join our team and support our efforts in elevating personalisation across the website. You will work closely with our Digital Product Manager to support the direction and strategy for our digital platform, focusing on Personalisation and enhancing the customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about creating seamless, customer-first experiences and eager to learn and grow in the world of product management. As we aim for ambitious growth over the next few years, Personalisation will be a key enabler and you'll play an important supporting role in helping deliver our exciting product initiatives.

The Role

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Support the Digital Product Manager and Head of Ecommerce to define and execute a digital product strategy and roadmap focused on personalising the customer experience, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer-centric priorities.
  • Own the delivery of all initiatives related to Personalisation, working closely with design, development, and testing teams to ensure that tailored customer experiences are delivered on time.
  • Help communicate the impact of product improvements, prioritising tasks based on opportunity size, customer impact, technical feasibility and ROI.
  • Partner with stakeholders across various teams to ensure smooth coordination and support cross-functional projects.
  • Work alongside engineering and UX teams to document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist the engineering squad in Scrum ceremonies, ensuring that Agile practices are adhered to throughout the development process.
  • Maintain and update the product backlog (in Jira), ensuring both high-level and detailed plans reflect customer personalisation goals.
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making by analyzing customer data to identify opportunities for personalisation improvements that enhance the overall customer experience and support commercial objectives.

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Strong, mid-level experience as a Product Owner in an Ecommerce company, ideally with a DTC retailer or beauty brand.
  • Experience working with and ideally implementing a 3rd party personalisation tool like Dynamic Yield.
  • A strong passion for personalisation and customer-centric product development and a desire to learn from more experienced team members.
  • Team-oriented and eager to work cross-functionally, willing to get involved in all aspects of product delivery.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortably data-driven and open to analysing data to propose actionable insights.
  • Curious, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic growth environment.
