Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Head of Digital Operations & Infrastructure to lead the planning, assurance, and secure delivery of core digital infrastructure and user support across the Trust.

The role requires translating the digital strategy into executable roadmaps, managing Service Desk, Telephony, IT Admin, and infrastructure projects, and ensuring resilience in line with NHS standards.

Qualifications

• Masters level in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Post-graduate management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to role.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic and operational leadership for Digital Operations & Infrastructure portfolios.
• Ensure availability, security, and resilience of core infrastructure platforms.
• Lead governance, CIM, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
• Develop strategic roadmaps aligning with NHS governance and digital strategy.
• Lead service transformation and adoption of modern tooling and automation.
