Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Digital Operations & Infrastructure to lead the planning, delivery, and security of core digital services across the Trust. You will translate the digital strategy into executable roadmaps, ensuring resilience and high service levels for 24/7 clinical operations.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Operations, you will oversee Service Delivery, IT Admin, Telephony, and infrastructure resilience, while building strong

Qualifications

• Masters level in a relevant field and senior leadership experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to role.
• Postgraduate management or architecture qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Experience leading senior programmes and managing large budgets.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing digital delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic and operational leadership for Digital Infrastructure and Service Delivery.
• Ensure availability, security and resilience of core infrastructure and clinical systems.
• Lead Critical Incident Management (CIM) and risk governance.
• Define governance, SLAs/OLAs, and performance reporting across portfolios.
• Manage supplier relationships and deputise for the Director of Digital Operations.
