Job summary
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior leader in digital medicines to oversee EPMA systems and to drive quality and capability improvements across the system. Qualifications
- Leadership role within digital medicines ensuring patient safety and care
- Line manages the Principal Pharmacy Technician for Pharmacy Systems
- Develop analytical tools to optimise EPMA and provide dashboards
- Support Medicines Optimisation and clinical audit programmes
- Contribute to System-wide Digital Medicine Strategy and Single Medication Record development
Responsibilities
- To line manage the Principal Pharmacy Technician for Pharmacy Systems (DCH) and to provide managerial, professional and clinical oversight of Pharmacy Systems (JAC, EPMA, PTS, AerosScout)
- To optimise the existing EPMA system by developing analytical tools to support patient care such as clinical prioritisation and performance dashboards
- To support the Medicines Optimisation work programme for the Medicines Committee
- To support the pharmacy clinical audit programme
- To support the System wide Digital Medicine Strategy and the development of a Single Medication Record for the system
- To participate in the provision of the clinical pharmacy service, inpatient and outpatient dispensing services
- To deputise for the Joint Digital Lead Pharmacist.
