Job Title: Paid Digital Media Assistant.

Clients: Charities and socially positive organisations including NSPCC, Carers UK, Young Minds, Dementia UK, Sue Ryder.

Duration: Permanent.

Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Mon-Fri (flexible working with core hours 10am to 4pm).

Holiday: 35 days per annum inc. bank holidays. Increasing to 38 days inc. bank holidays after 2 years.

Health: BUPA family cover for permanent employees, free annual health check, free Headspace app.

Flexibility: Hybrid working and flexible hours.

Salary: From £26,000 per annum (with expected progression within 5 months).

Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1PS (on the Metropolitan Line outside London). Optional 2 days per week remote working.

We often attend industry conferences (like Brighton SEO), organise socials including countryside walks, do fun activities at Christmas, and on occasion we take everyone away (our summer parties have included a trip to the Med, and a weekend in the beautiful New Forest). Position Overview

We are looking for a graduate with strong mathematics and data analysis skills, who has a desire to use digital marketing and the power of data to make the world a better place.

You’ll be devising and implementing award-winning digital campaigns across multiple channels for some amazing clients, including well-known charities. This will include Paid Search (PPC), Paid Social Ads, and Programmatic Display. The successful candidate will have a passion for data, a keen eye for detail, and be able to comfortably speak to clients and potential clients.

This role will report into the Paid Media Director and will progress into a Paid Media Executive role.

The Day-to-Day
Paid Media Implementation
  • Researching and developing audience targeting.
  • Optimising Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Developing engaging ads and identifying which perform best with audiences.
  • Keyword research and development.

Improving the user journey from ad delivery through to final conversion:

  • Optimising the efficiency of website landing pages.
  • Supporting UX (User Experience) improvements.
  • Supporting the onsite conversion journey.
  • Ensuring ads are aligned with the onsite experience.
Data Tracking, Engineering, and Analysis
  • Supporting and implementing digital marketing tracking tags and pixels.
  • Utilising data from tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta.
  • Producing data dashboard reports with Google Looker Studio.
  • Testing and developing new ways to display data.
Developing and Improving Automation
  • Using Google Sheets (functions and app integration).
  • Google Scripts.
Account Management
  • Attending client meetings.
  • Communicating with clients, taking requests, answering questions, and keeping them informed of progress.
Requirements
  • Passion for digital marketing.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written English.
  • A logical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proactivity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts with clients.
  • Adaptability and versatility in a constantly evolving environment.
  • IT literacy, especially on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Google Suite is desirable.
  • Experience in digital marketing (Google Ads, PPC); understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and Python is a plus but not essential.
