The Aspinall Foundation is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital campaigns for Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park. You will drive paid media, SEO, CRM/email marketing, landing pages and content to boost bookings and revenue across both parks.
With 5+ years in digital marketing, you’ll deliver data-driven campaigns, optimise customer journeys and mentor junior staff, reporting to the Head of Marketing in a collaborative team environment near Folkestone.
The Howletts Wild Animal Trust, which oversees Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, are looking for Digital Marketing Manager to join our team.
As Digital Marketing Manager for Port Lympne and Howletts, you’ll lead the delivery and performance of digital marketing across both parks, driving audience engagement, bookings and commercial growth. From managing paid media campaigns and SEO to developing CRM activity, improving website performance and shaping engaging content, you’ll turn marketing priorities into effective digital campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll use data and customer insights to optimise performance, improve customer journeys and identify new opportunities for growth. You’ll also lead and develop the Digital Executive and Marketing Executive, working collaboratively with the wider marketing team to deliver impactful, integrated campaigns throughout the year.
We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded digital marketer with at least five years’ hands-on experience across paid media, SEO, CRM/email marketing and digital performance. You’ll have a proven track record of improving ROAS, reducing CPA, increasing conversion rates and driving revenue through digital activity, using data and customer insights to shape effective campaigns and deliver measurable results.
You’ll have strong practical knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), alongside a good working knowledge of Google Search Console and SEO tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs. Experience with email and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo or Dotdigital is also important. You’ll be confident planning and briefing content, managing landing pages and website content, and using performance data to identify opportunities to improve the customer journey. Experience with TikTok Ads, marketing automation and emerging search developments, including AI-led search, would be a great advantage.
As a proactive and organised leader, you’ll have experience managing or developing junior team members, working collaboratively across creative, commercial and operational teams, and managing external agencies, freelancers or specialist partners. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, translating complex data into clear commercial recommendations and taking ownership of digital activity from planning through to delivery. Google Ads and GA4 certifications would be desirable. Experience in tourism, leisure, hospitality or visitor attractions would be a bonus, as would familiarity with booking systems such as Opera, Accesso or ResDiary.
Above all, you’ll be curious, commercially focused and passionate about developing digital marketing, with a genuine interest in wildlife, conservation and creating memorable visitor experiences at Port Lympne and Howletts.

Port Lympne is the only wild animal park in Europe to offer unique short breaks, where guests can wake up surrounded by animals, go on safari, enjoy once in a lifetime animal encounter and most importantly be part of real conservation in action. Port Lympne is also home to two new wedding and event spaces, which are already winning awards, as well as three exceptional on-site restaurants.
As well as walking to work surrounded by the calls of Howler monkeys and the roars from our pride of Lions, you will also join a supportive team who are passionate about their place of work.
