Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover – with potential to become permanent)

Location: Bury

Contract Type: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover – approx. 12 months)

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: 9am -5pm (35 hrs a week)

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team on a maternity cover basis, with the potential for a permanent position. This is a key role responsible for driving digital marketing activity across multiple channels and platforms, supporting both trade and consumer audiences.

You’ll manage and develop our award-winning Trade Portal, play a pivotal role in an upcoming software upgrade project, and contribute to the implementation of our ERP system. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital marketing professional who thrives on variety, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our agency partners to optimise and execute digital marketing campaigns across SEO, PPC and paid media
  • Manage the ongoing development and performance of our award-winning Trade Portal, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of our B2B customers
  • Work closely with our agency partners on a significant software upgrade project for our B2B Trade Portal, contributing to UX, content planning, user testing, and launch communications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the implementation and rollout of a new ERP system ensuring both major projects are aligned and all marketing requirements are accounted for
  • Analyse and report on digital marketing metrics, web traffic, and campaign performance, delivering actionable insights
  • Oversee and update B2C website content and structure, ensuring optimal user experience and SEO best practices
  • Support broader marketing initiatives including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and exhibitions
  • Liaise with agencies, developers, and internal departments to deliver projects on time and within budget

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead digital development projects
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and CRM/ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for continuous improvement
