Brooklyn Recruitment are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant for a York-based abrasives tooling business. This is a brand-new role and office-based in the York area, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape the digital marketing function.

You will plan and run campaigns, manage social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Meta), design emails, update the website and ensure all material remains on-brand. A marketing degree or relevant experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience in a marketing role, preferably in DIY/tools or construction sectors.
• Degree in Marketing or a related business subject, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong social media experience and good communication skills.

Digital Marketing Assistant - York

Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a well established yet rapidly expanding abrasives tooling business. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to be office based in the York area. This is a brand new role to the business so is a great opportunity to really make it your own.

As Digital Marketing Assistant your role will be extremely varied, and your duties will include:

• Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Managing the social media channels.
• Creating social media posts and videos.
• Designing email campaigns.
• Updating the website.
• Ensuring the brand values are highlighted and all items are kept on brand.
• Assisting other members of the marketing team.
• Maintaining the marketing library.
• Other duties as required

The hours of work for this role of Digital Marketing Assistant are Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm.

To be suitable for this role of Digital Marketing Assistant you should have previous experience in a similar Marketing position, ideally from a tool / construction / DIY background, but all industries will be considered.

You should have great communication and organisational skills as well as having extensive social media experience. You should also hold a degree in Marketing or another Business related subject or alternatively have real life experience. Instagram is currently the main social media channel used but they would also like to branch out into TikTok and to further utilise Meta.
