Frontier, Cambridge-based independent video game developer and publisher, is hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant on a full-time basis with hybrid flexibility (minimum 3 days in the studio). The role focuses on setting up paid media campaigns, writing advertising copy and supporting go-to-market campaigns across digital platforms.

You will work with a data-led team to develop skills in gathering and interpreting marketing performance data and contribute to measurable launch outcomes.

WHAT’S THE ROLE

Our Digital Marketing team is expanding, and we’re hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant to help bring our packed schedule of game launches to market. This is a hands‑on position focused on setting up paid media campaigns, writing advertising copy, and assisting in go‑to‑market rollouts across a range of digital platforms.

Working closely with a data‑led, high‑performing team, this role will have the opportunity to develop a career in performance marketing, learn from a team of experts, and contribute directly to measurable launch outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Assisting the Senior Performance Marketing Manager to support the planning, delivery and reporting of performance marketing campaigns.
• Building paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, X, Google Ads and other advertising channels, aligning activity with agreed media plans.
• Creating clear, effective ad copy tailored to the tone and personality of each brand.
• Assisting in setting up campaign tracking, including links and working with web teams to implement ad tracking and website analytics.
• Gathering monthly performance and finance information, raise purchase orders, and coordinate with Finance to meet submission deadlines.
• Helping brief creative requirements into Creative Services, checking assets meet specifications and supporting delivery to advertising partners when needed.
• Reviewing competitors' launch activity to surface useful examples, category trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Tracking relevant platform updates that could influence campaign setup, billing processes, or creative requirements.
• Developing skills in gathering, analysing and interpreting marketing performance data to identify actionable insights.
• Supporting the development of creative ideas and assist with the implementation and testing of new campaign initiatives.
