Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics is redefining aerial technology with secure, scalable digital platforms. We seek a Digital & Cyber Manager to own technology strategy and security governance, guiding delivery while addressing complex cyber risk across cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.

You will partner across business units, shape roadmaps, manage incidents, and drive secure‑by‑design practices in a hands‑on role that balances strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operations. UK security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience across IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure, identity, governance, security, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers and technology partners.
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001.
  • Knowledge of networking, infrastructure, security operations, and vulnerability management.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence, and drive decisions at all levels.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to switch between strategy and delivery.

  • Manage major incidents, service issues, and technology risks through to resolution.
  • Develop technology roadmaps, modernisation plans, and investment recommendations.
  • Embed secure‑by‑design principles across projects and operational environments.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex issues in a simple, business‑focused way.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Digital & Cyber Manager to take ownership of our technology and security landscape, helping shape strategy while remaining close to delivery.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing stakeholders, challenging suppliers, and driving outcomes. You’ll be the trusted technology partner to the business, providing expertise across cloud, infrastructure, cyber security, governance, and service delivery.

You’ll have the autonomy to make an impact, working across both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operational challenges.

Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK

What you’ll being doing (but not limited to):

Essential Skills and Experiences:
  • Strong experience across IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security.

Desired Skills and Experiences
  • Azure, CISSP, CISM, ITIL or related certifications.
  • Experience within regulated, defence, aerospace, engineering, or secure environments.
  • Exposure to OT, ICS/SCADA, or complex legacy technology environments.
