Job summary

Talent Sure Recruitment Limited is hiring a Live Chat - Customer Support Specialist in central Southampton. This permanent, full-time role offers £26,500 per year, 37.5 hours weekly (Mon-Fri 8am–6pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays).

You will deliver first‑class digital customer service across non‑voice channels, responding via live chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS and social media to support customers and ensure smooth application processes.

Qualifications

Excellent written communication with tone, spelling, grammar and empathy.
Comfort navigating multi-screen systems, digital messaging software and CRM databases.
Genuine passion for helping others in sensitive or vulnerable situations.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer queries across live chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS and social media.
Assist with initial applications and manage existing accounts with clear digital guidance.
Provide empathetic, tailored support focusing on care and compliance.
Handle general account enquiries and payment guidance with high-quality written service.
Collaborate with the digital service team to maintain a supportive environment.
