Job summary

drb Ignite Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Digital Innovation Manager to lead the digital transformation across its group of schools. You will collaborate with the Director of IT & Compliance and Trust leaders to maximise educational technology impact while ensuring security, scalability and sustainability of digital initiatives.

The role involves delivering digital objectives, enabling new ways of working, staff development and service modernisation across multiple sites in the West Midlands.

About the role

The Digital Innovation Manager is a highly important role, supporting the Trust’s ongoing digital transformation and helping to ensure that technology continues to have a positive impact on teaching, learning and operational effectiveness across our schools. Working closely with the Director of IT & Compliance and Trust leaders, you will play a key role in helping our schools maximise the benefits of technology whilst ensuring that digital initiatives remain secure, scalable and sustainable. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to support a wide range of strategic and operational priorities, including digital learning innovation, educational technology, artificial intelligence, staff development, service modernisation, operational improvement and emerging technologies.

About you

As a growing and ambitious Trust, we are seeking a highly capable professional who embraces innovation, works effectively with others and understands how technology can support both educational and operational priorities. You will help deliver agreed digital objectives across the Trust, supporting schools to adopt new ways of working that improve outcomes for pupils, staff and wider communities.

You will have experience supporting or delivering digital or technology initiatives as well as experience working with educational technologies and operational technology environments. You will hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience and have an understanding of operational infrastructure, systems integration and scalable technology environments. You will also have an understanding of digital transformation and operational modernisation within multi-site organisations.
