Inclusion Education is seeking a Business Operations Assistant (Digital & IT Support) to ensure staff have reliable access to systems, equipment and technical support across multiple sites. You will work with the Head of Business Operations, managing digital administration, device management and asset control to maintain service continuity.

Qualifications

  • Relevant IT, business administration or digital support qualification, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive service desk, digital and IT support to staff.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Digital and IT suppliers and service providers.
  • Support colleagues to make effective use of organisational systems and technology.
  • Maintain accurate records, asset registers, service agreements and support documentation.
  • Ensure technology resources are administered in line with organisational procedures.
  • Provide routine reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Operational Governance meetings.
  • Support cyber security, data protection and safeguarding requirement.
  • Identify, elevate and monitor technology-related risks and incidents.
  • Maintain effective controls over technology assets and equipment.
  • Support the planning and delivery of digital improvements, equipment deployments and system developments.
  • Contribute to service improvements through testing, feedback and user support.
  • Encourage effective adoption of organisational technology.
  • Promote responsible, safe and inclusive use of digital technologies.

Job description

Your Role

Purpose: The Business Operations Assistant (Digital & IT Support) supports the effective delivery of Inclusion Education's digital systems, technology resources and user support services. The role ensures staff have access to equipment, systems and technical support, enabling them to deliver high-quality education and support services. Working closely with the Head of Business Operations, Heads of Service, and external IT providers, the postholder coordinates day-to-day IT support, device management, digital administration and asset control across all settings. The role contributes to operational efficiency, service continuity, compliance and the effective use of technology throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing People & Stakeholders
  1. Deliver responsive service desk, digital and IT support to staff
  2. Maintain effective relationships with Digital and IT suppliers and service providers
  3. Support colleagues to make effective use of organisational systems and technology
Governance & Accountability
  1. Maintain accurate records, asset registers, service agreements and support documentation.
  2. Ensure technology resources are administered in line with organisational procedures.

Essentials

  5. Ability to work independently across multiple sites while analysing issues and implementing practical solutions.
  6. Experience using helpdesk, ticketing or support management systems.
  7. Experience supporting device deployment and user onboarding processes.
  8. Education, charity or multi-site operating environments.
  9. IT asset management and inventory control processes.
  10. Technology lifecycle management and digital service delivery
  11. Working within an education, charity or multi-site organisation.
  12. Supporting IT asset registers, equipment inventories or digital improvement projects
