Job summary

ERSG Ltd in Scotland is seeking an experienced Digital Information Manager (BIM) to lead digital information and BIM management across a major energy infrastructure framework. The role involves developing ISO 19650-compliant information requirements and processes to ensure high-quality digital data delivered by contractors and the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as BIM Coordinator/Manager on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework and information management best practice.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 or other CDE platforms.
• Strong CAD and 2D/3D modelling, ideally with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and Navisworks with practical model coordination.
• Experience in energy or linear infrastructure (substations, converter stations, overhead lines, cables) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BIM Execution Plans.
• Support commercial and legal teams with BIM requirements for contracts, PQQs and tenders.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions for compliance with project requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for project-specific digital information and issue resolution.
• Support setup and management of Common Data Environments (CDEs) per ISO 19650.
• Lead BIM Coordinators in model coordination, federation and clash detection across workstreams.
• Manage information across multiple digital systems and data environments.

Digital Information Manager (BIM)

We are seeking an experienced Digital Information Manager (BIM) to lead digital information and BIM management across a major energy infrastructure framework in Scotland.

The role will be responsible for developing and implementing ISO 19650-compliant information requirements and processes, ensuring high-quality digital data is delivered by contractors and the wider supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs), BIM Execution Plans and related information management processes.
• Support commercial and legal teams with BIM requirements for contracts, PQQs and tenders.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions to ensure compliance with project and industry requirements.
• Act as the key point of contact for project-specific digital information, resolving technical and information management issues.
• Support the setup and management of Common Data Environments (CDEs) in line with ISO 19650.
• Lead BIM Coordinators in model coordination, federation and clash detection across multiple workstreams.
• Manage and validate information across multiple digital systems, software platforms and data environments.

Experience & Skills

• Significant experience as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager or Information Manager on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework and information management best practice.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 or other CDE platforms.
• Strong CAD and 2D/3D modelling experience, ideally with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and Navisworks.Practical experience in model coordination, clash detection and federation.
• Experience in energy or linear infrastructure, such as substations, converter stations, overhead lines or cables, is desirable.
• GIS experience, particularly Esri, would be advantageous.
• Project or team management experience would be beneficial.
