Digital Fundraising Specialist – Community & Events

Bliss is the UK’s leading charity for babies born premature or sick. We are seeking a Fundraising Assistant (Digital) to support Community and Events, manage virtual challenges, and assist with events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run.

You will moderate online groups, draft copy, schedule posts, respond to supporters, and help keep our supporter data clean and up to date while ensuring excellent donor care. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in community and events fundraising is preferred.
• Ability to moderate online communities and engage supporters.
• Ability to draft and review copy for emails and communications.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.

Aufgaben

• Provide support to the C&E team on delivery of our virtual fundraising challenges.
• Provide support to the team in our various day to day fundraising activities.
• Provide thoughtful, knowledgeable and engaging moderation within our Facebook groups, helping to create positive and supportive online communities.
• Assisting with scheduling and drafting of social media posts
• Responding to communication via email, SMS and social media messages
• Helping to draft and review copy for email and other communications
• Preparing data for internal and external teams
• Deliver exceptional supporter care to all Bliss supporters
• Ensure the supporter database is accurate and up to date, as well as following all relevant financial processes to ensure income is recorded accurately
• Help maintain relevant Community & Events webpages and forms
• Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required
