Job summary

Merrifield Consultants are delighted to partner with Framework Housing Association to recruit a Digital Communications & Fundraising Officer. Reporting to the Digital Team Manager, this role shapes digital fundraising and communications that change lives for people facing homelessness in the East Midlands and Yorkshire.

You will lead email marketing, social media, and fundraising campaigns, using insights to grow supporters, increase donations and improve the donor experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing or communications, with a track record of growing social media audiences.
• Excellent writing skills with persuasive, emotive copy and attention to detail.
• Experience building email campaigns in platforms such as Mailchimp.
• Experience using supporter data and segmentation to target campaigns, analysing results and reporting back to stakeholders.
• Experience shooting and editing video, and creating designs in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build, segment and deliver supporter email marketing.
• Develop multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns, including Engaging Networks pages.
• Grow digital networks and audiences to increase subscribers and donations.
• Manage social media and create content, including Canva assets and short and long-form video.
• Develop supporter journeys that turn new supporters into loyal donors.
• Tell service users' stories using a trauma-informed approach.
• Report on campaign results, budgets and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Fundraising Practice and GDPR.
