Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Manager, Digital Engineering for EY FSO to lead software delivery across financial services engagements. You will set technical direction, guide engineering teams, and ensure quality and delivery outcomes while staying close to the code.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, you will mentor engineers, design scalable digital platforms, and drive Agile delivery across multi-disciplinary squads, balancing risk, governance and client expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
8–12 years of software/ digital delivery experience with leadership roles.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end engineering workstreams across financial services clients.
Design scalable digital solutions using backend, frontend, integration and cloud patterns.
Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture decisions and code reviews.
Lead Agile delivery across multi-disciplinary squads with stakeholders and other teams.
Drive production readiness including CI/CD, observability, resilience and security.
Mentor engineers and senior consultants to raise capability and delivery quality.
Contribute to EY FSO Digital Engineering propositions and reusable assets.
Translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into pragmatic designs.
