Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a Digital Education Specialist within LEED to support academic and professional services in using the institution's digital education infrastructure. You will design, develop and deliver CPD programmes, provide bespoke support to an allocated faculty, and collaborate with the Digital Education team to advance the DELTA Strategy and inclusive learning.

The role involves combining pedagogic guidance with practical training, enabling staff and students

Qualifications

• Experience guiding staff on digital education and pedagogy.
• Knowledge of virtual learning environments and accessible spaces.
• Understanding AI impact on teaching and assessment.
• Experience developing inclusive practices and accessibility.
• Experience embedding apps for teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Drive digital innovation in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Implement, operationalise and evaluate the DELTA strategy with faculty.
• Develop up-to-date guidance on digital education tools and pedagogy.
• Deliver CPD programmes, workshops (face-to-face and online).
• Collaborate with external partners and professional bodies.
• Support academic and professional services with digital enablement.
