Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is recruiting a Digital Design and Industrialisation Capability Lead – Structures and Installations in Derby. You will provide technical leadership to the Engineering resource group, drive load/capacity planning, allocate staff to work packages, and lead the delivery of technical activities throughout the lifecycle.

You will also push continuous improvement and lead digital transformation initiatives to support product definition and design automation.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with sound engineering judgement.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing resources.
• Proven ability to apply process improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to engineering resource group and ensure lifecycle process compliance.
• Lead load/capacity planning and staff allocation for project deliverables.
• Oversee staff assignment to work packages and approve technical activities.
• Drive efficiency via process review, teamwork, and best practices.
• Champion digital transformation and deliver capability development and product definition support.
