Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a BIM Information Manager to support digital delivery across major schemes from its Bath area base. You will implement BIM processes, manage information quality, and coordinate across consultants, contractors and internal teams to drive efficient delivery.

The role requires experience with Autodesk Forma, BIM360, Revit and Navisworks, plus a strong grasp of ISO-19650 and BEP reviews. Occasional site travel in the Southwest is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with a pragmatic approach.
• Experience on large interdisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of CDE administration and ISO-19650 concepts.
• Experience managing BIM data across the project lifecycle on Forma, Construction Cloud and BIM360.
• Experience conducting BIM coordination and BEP reviews with project teams and third parties.
• Proficient in Autodesk software including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and ReCap.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and auditing 3D models in Revit or Navisworks.
• Managing point cloud data and third-party survey information.
• Performing clash detection and visual walkthroughs with Navisworks Manage and ACC/Forma.
• Ensuring CDE and document compliance per ISO-19650 and company guidelines.
• Managing daily project documentation and reviewing BIM Execution Plans.
• Producing 3D model quantity extraction/verification for pricing and design.
• 4D scheduling/simulation using Bentley Synchro or similar tools.
• Providing BIM guidance and training to wider delivery teams.
• Occasional travel to sites across the Southwest catchment area.

Job description

Be at the forefront of digital project delivery, using industry-leading tools and technologies to enhance collaboration, improve information quality, and support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders, you’ll support the implementation of BIM processes and ensure projects are delivered.

What you'll do

Working within our Digital Delivery & Engineering department, you’ll implement BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes to assist in the digital delivery of major construction schemes.

You’ll be expected to provide exceptional information management services in line with BE EN ISO 19650 standards and company guidance.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• reviewing and auditing 3D models from consultants and contractors in Revit or Navisworks
• managing point cloud data and other geographical survey information from third parties
• conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs of 3D models using Navisworks Manage and ACC/Forma model coordination
• checking CDE and document compliance to ensure it aligns with ISO-19650 & company guidelines
• managing daily project documentation and reviewing BIM Execution Plans
• producing 3D model quantity extraction/verification to aid in pricing and design
• 4D scheduling/simulation using Bentley Synchro or other 4D programs
• provide guidance and training to the wider delivery teams on best practices in BIM processes and CDE management
• occasional travel to sites across the Southwest catchment area.

What you'll need

You’ll have excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills with a pragmatic approach to resolving issues.

You’ll also have experience working on large interdisciplinary projects.

You’ll also need:

• strong working experience of operating in a common data environment or CDE Administration
• experience monitoring information quality and compliance, identifying issues and working with project teams to resolve them
• experience managing BIM data throughout a project's lifecycle on platforms such as Autodesk Forma, Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM360
• a working understanding of the practical application of the key principles of information management as per ISO-19650
• experience conducting BIM coordination and BEP review meetings with project team members and third parties
• working experience in delivering projects using Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and ReCap.

It would be beneficial (but not essential) for you to also have:

• knowledge of the water industry & construction processes and procedures
• advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft 365 Suite and other information management software to handle large data sets
• Power BI and Synchro experience.
