Job summary

The Government Property Agency is the largest property holder in government, with more than £2.1 billion in property assets and over 55% of the government’s office estate.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale digital and data programmes.
• Strong governance, reporting and controls experience.
• Proficient in budget planning and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Digital & Data Portfolio Management: provide centralised support to leads and project managers, focusing on resource management, risk mitigation, governance adherence, reporting, and delivery planning.
• Improve Performance & Delivery Reporting: develop status updates and metrics linked to time, cost, quality, and scope.
• Strengthen Governance and Oversight: ensure standard processes and governance frameworks are followed for digital and data projects.
• Manage Agile Tools: utilise JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence to maintain data integrity for reporting.
• Optimise Resources: oversee allocation across digital and data initiatives balancing staff, tech and budget.
• Enhance RAID Management: ensure risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are understood and managed.
• Centralise Budget Planning: support managers with budget oversight.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: liaise between technical and business teams during planning and execution.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: capture lessons learned and implement process improvements.
