Job Purpose
The Digital Coordinator will work across various digital streams including the website, app, and digital marketing. Responsibilities include maintaining digital ordering platforms, executing SEO, managing the loyalty program, and supporting digital marketing and retention initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Menu Management: Build, maintain, and merchandise menus for our ordering platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with current offerings.
  2. Content Management: Execute brand and editorial content, ensuring optimal customer journeys and SEO. Collaborate with the Digital Growth Marketing Manager to enhance online visibility and engagement.
  3. Loyalty Program Execution: Maintain the loyalty program experience in line with strategy to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
  4. Marketing Communications: Develop digital marketing templates for Local Store Marketing (LSM), SMS, and support email campaigns and push notifications.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports to assess digital initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Asset & Creative Amends: Resize and crop creative assets provided by the design team for various digital channels.

Requirements

  1. Strong understanding of digital customer experience principles, including digital marketing, SEO, and online customer journeys.
  2. Experience with website content management systems.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis to inform decisions; knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is advantageous.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling content and collaborate effectively.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  7. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to opportunities and problem-solving. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  8. Strong team player, valuing collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  9. Commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs through digital channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 1-3 years of experience in digital coordination or similar roles within retail, hospitality, or QSR industries. Knowledge of food and beverage digital trends is a plus.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related fields.
  3. Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  4. Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) and video editing tools is a plus.
  5. Experience in fast-paced environments with high urgency and accountability.

Working Relationships

  • UK Digital Marketing team, including Retention Manager, Implementation Lead, Digital Growth Marketing Manager.
  • UK Integrated Marketing team.
  • Support center teams in the UK, Canada, and France.
  • Global teams including Pizza Hut Digital, Brand, and Marketing.

Work Environment

This role is based in our Restaurant Support Centre in Central London, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week onsite. As Pizza Hut is a franchise, occasional visits to franchisee offices and other locations may be required. There will be events throughout the year in London, including RSC days, team meetings, and market visits.
