Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, is seeking a Service Manager to support delivery and development of its digital transformation programmes and the Sparc service. The role works with the Digital Clinical Services leadership team to improve patient access, experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational leadership with strong analytical and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver performance targets and manage budgets.
• Experience with service delivery improvements and digital transformation.
• Ability to work across organisational boundaries with clinicians, commissioners and providers.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and development of digital transformation programmes and Sparc.
• Oversee performance reporting, data analysis, governance and service development.
• Lead on achieving performance and quality targets, manage risks and deliver projects.
• Monitor and report service activity, demand and capacity; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide leadership to administrative staff, including recruitment, staff development and performance management.
• Budget monitoring and resource planning.
• Support expansion of digital and community ophthalmology services.
