Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Service Manager to support delivery and development of its Digital Clinical Services and the Sparc system. You will work with the leadership team to improve patient access, referrals and outcomes while driving service improvements and contracts across Moorfields and partner health systems.

The role requires strong analytical, organisational and relationship management skills, and a commitment to high‑quality patient‑centred services

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with management experience.
• Operational management experience within the acute sector or similarly complex organisation.
• Knowledge of service improvement tools and techniques.
• Understanding of HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse service data including activity, demand, capacity, KPIs and performance reports, ensuring data is validated and appropriate action is taken.
• Lead on monitoring and improvement of referral quality, working with clinicians and partners.
• Support governance processes, including risk management, incidents and quality improvement actions.
• Oversee budgeting and resource planning to support service sustainability and growth.
• Provide leadership and support to administrative staff and recruitment.
