Job summary

EY is expanding its Financial Services Risk Consulting team in the UK, focusing on digital assets within wealth and asset management. You will help clients design robust risk and control frameworks across asset lifecycles and regulatory requirements.

As a Manager, you’ll lead risk workstreams, collaborate with technology, regulatory, and compliance teams, and mentor junior colleagues in a fast‑moving, global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong wealth/asset management knowledge (buy/sell-side processes).
• Wide understanding of the digital assets ecosystem (cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, tokenised assets).
• Experience designing or assessing risk taxonomies and control frameworks for digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Advise on non-financial risk frameworks for digital assets and governance.
• Design risk and control frameworks across digital asset lifecycles (issuance, trading, custody, settlement, reporting).
• Assess and map digital asset process flows and risks.
• Map client journeys across digital asset use cases (tokenisation, trading, settlements).
• Advise on operating models and target controls for wealth/asset managers.
• Conduct risk assessments across participants (asset manager, transfer agent, custodian).
• Mentor junior team members and lead risk workstreams.
