Digital Design Engineer – Midlothian

I am looking for Digital Design Engineers to join my client, a leading-edge technology company developing solutions for large, complex batteries used in applications such as electric vehicles, buses, and marine vessels. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new, innovative team expected to experience significant growth in the coming years, especially with the shift away from petrol cars. The role offers a chance to work in a ‘start-up’ environment with the support of a large company, providing opportunities to learn and showcase your expertise within a collaborative team.

The position is based in Midlothian, a small, friendly city with historic sites and attractions. Although based in Midlothian, the company is open to fully remote work for candidates outside the area who are unable to relocate.

Requirements:

• +4 years’ experience in Digital Design with strong skills in RTL design
• Experience with standard bus protocols
• Experience working on automotive ICs or knowledge of automotive frameworks such as ISO26262
• Experience in UVM, DSP, Filter Design, or FPGA is highly desirable
