Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Digital & Blended Learning Designer to create engaging training that aligns with our strategy and values. You will transform requirements into practical learning content, contributing to our Learning & Organisational Development aims with a proactive, agile approach.

This is a home-based role with occasional travel to Birmingham/Worcester as required. You will draft storyboards and scripts, build training modules using Articulate 360 and Adobe, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Proficient in instructional design/eLearning using design software and authoring tools.
• Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in designing and developing performance-based training including compliance and health & safety.
• Ability to monitor results and measure learning impact.
• Interest in using AI tools ethically to enhance learning design.
• Experience delivering learning objectives/solutions and working with managers/SMEs to identify performance gaps.
• Strong project management to handle multiple workstreams.

We are excited to announce a new vacancy for a Digital/Blended Learning Designer to join the Learning & Organisational Development Team at Platform Housing Group.

We have several key essential projects which we are supporting, as well as objectives to help deliver our Colleague Strategy and a cultural transformation on the go, so we need to expand the Design & Delivery Team. We need creative and innovative people to help us create engaging learning activities and course content so that it aligns with the Group strategy and our values & behaviours.

This exciting role within the team is where you will design and build learning that takes the requirements and transforms them into engaging learning content.

You should be an agile, creative thinker withdemonstratedabilitytoconvert information into easily understandable learning content. If you are comfortable being curious and asking questions to make sure you get outcomes, then we hope that you are interested in joining us.

We want you to work collaboratively with stakeholders across Platform and within the LOD team to design engaging learning resources and solutions that meet the training and performance needs of Platform.

You will draft storyboards, scripts, and build training content and proactively manage drafts through stakeholder reviews, updates, and approvals. Wherenecessary, you will be required to create customised versions of related content for different target audiences.

There will be opportunity for you to use your skills to support capability requirements, for example, to support new technologies, processes, essential (not soft) skills, behaviours, mindsets and regulatory changes.

Some Things That We Need From You

• A clear passion for supporting business and individual growth through the development of people
• Be proficient in instructional design/eLearning development using design software & authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe etc)
• The ability to communicate abstract or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You should be experienced in carrying out instructional design processes and creating clear content scripts and storyboards
• Proven experience inthedesign and development ofperformance-basedtrainingincluding Compliance and Health & Safetycontent
• Ability to monitor and evaluate results and business impact of projects and learning
• An interest in and ability to utilise AI tools effectively and ethically to enhance learning design would be a strength
• Experience in implementing and delivering innovative and relevant learningobjectives/solutions/interventions
• Experience in working with managers,SMEs, and stakeholders to identify performance gaps
• Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Offices and other locations as required. It is anticipated that you will be required to travel between 2-4 days per month. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
