Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Digital Consultant to deliver practical digital and data-enabled solutions across major projects. You will design and deliver Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting pipelines within the Digital PMO / project controls environment.

The role requires independent delivery in complex environments, documenting architecture, data lineage, assumptions and controls, and supporting adoption with training and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Power BI reporting or analytics solutions with data preparation, modelling and DAX.
• Ability to work with limited supervision on complex assignments and own delivery from discovery through testing.
• Experience capturing stakeholder requirements and translating business needs into practical outputs.
• Working knowledge of Power Query / ETL and SQL, with experience integrating varied data sources.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, including supporting adoption and explaining solutions to non-specialists.
• Organised and delivery-focused, with experience in a project/PMO/consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, build and test Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting pipelines.
• Develop workflow automation and SharePoint-based collaboration structures.
• Document solution architecture, data lineage, assumptions, controls, testing and handover information.
• Support training and adoption, and provide practical governance and QA across projects.
