Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Digital Consultant to deliver practical digital and data-enabled solutions across major projects. You will design, prototype, build and test Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting pipelines within a Digital PMO environment.

Role focuses on independent delivery in complex environments, documentation, training support, and governance, with a hybrid working model and collaboration across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Power BI reporting or analytics solutions, including data preparation, modelling, DAX and visualisation.
• Ability to work with limited supervision on complex assignments and own delivery from discovery through testing and handover.
• Experience capturing stakeholder requirements and translating business needs into practical, testable digital or data outputs.
• Working knowledge of Power Query / ETL and SQL, with experience integrating varied data sources.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, including supporting adoption and explaining solutions to non-specialists.
• Organised and delivery-focused, with experience in a project, programme, PMO or consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, build and test Power BI dashboards, data models, reporting pipelines and workflow automation.
• Create SharePoint-based collaboration structures and governance around data solutions.
• Document solution architecture, data lineage, assumptions, controls and handover information.
• Support training and adoption of new digital/data outputs across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with project controls and wider delivery teams to reuse assets and share lessons.
