Job summary

LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, is looking for a Digital Advertising Sales Consultant to join our Glasgow sales team. You will work with businesses across Scotland to grow their presence using digital marketing solutions, including digital advertising, social media, video, website design and lead generation.

This hybrid role combines home working, office collaboration and face-to-face client meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, ideally in media, marketing, SaaS or tech.
• Confident in building relationships and winning new business.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with a consultative approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across your territory.
• Meet prospective clients via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments.
• Build strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Understand client objectives and recommend tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals.

Working with businesses across Scotland, you'll identify opportunities, build relationships and help clients grow through a range of digital marketing solutions, including digital advertising, social media, video, website design and lead generation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with a consultative approach to sales.
• Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
• Comfortable working across telephone, virtual and face-to-face sales channels.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, media or SaaS solutions would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Able to travel within the territory and attend the local office regularly.
