Job summary

Webmart is seeking a Digital Account Manager to own the day-to-day running of client accounts, coordinating strategy with our delivery teams and maintaining strong client relationships. You will manage a mix of retained digital campaigns across SEO, PPC, social and more, with projects like audits and website overhauls.

  • Agency experience across a range of accounts, with strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills to lead meetings.
  • Broad understanding of digital channels and familiarity with Ahrefs, GA and Google Ads.
  • Proactive approach to chasing, fixing or moving forward.

Job description

Are you a brilliant organiser who knows digital, loves working with clients and knows how to get things done?

As a Digital Account Manager at Webmart, you’ll own the day-to-day running of your accounts, bringing together our clients, strategists and specialist delivery teams to turn plans into action. Your focus is on managing the work and the relationship, while our specialists focus on delivery.

You’ll manage a mix of retained digital campaigns across SEO, PPC, social and more, alongside projects such as audits, consultancy and website overhauls.

Salary:Up to £40k, dependent on experience

Location:Bicester office or Barnsley office

Working options:Hybrid, with expectations to come into the Bicester or Barnsley office once per week, alongside prospect and client visits where required.

Main Responsibilities
Project & Account Management
  • Own the day-to-day running of your client accounts, turning agreed plans and strategies into clear project plans and keeping teams, actions and deadlines on track.
  • Coordinate our delivery teams, making sure people know what’s needed, when it’s needed and following up to make sure it happens.
  • Manage retained campaigns and projects against agreed timelines, scope and budgets, dealing with any changes before they become a problem.
  • Bring together reporting from our strategists and delivery teams, ready to share with clients.
Client Relationships
  • Be the main point of contact for your clients, leading regular meetings, setting agendas, capturing actions and making sure they happen.
  • Get to know your clients and their businesses properly. Meet them, visit them, pick up the phone and build relationships that last.
  • Keep clients up to date on progress, performance and what’s coming next, including presenting regular reporting and bringing in strategists or specialists when needed.
  • Pick up on issues early and take ownership of getting them sorted.
Account Growth
  • Spot opportunities to do more great work with existing clients.
  • Support proposals and attend pitches and prospect meetings.
  • Keep on top of account forecasts and revenue reporting.
Required
  • Agency experience across a range of accounts, with strong project management and organisational skills and the ability to juggle clients, teams, deadlines and budgets.
  • Great communication and client relationship skills, with the confidence to lead meetings, manage expectations and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • A broad understanding of digital channels, with enough knowledge to confidently talk about the work we deliver and familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • A proactive approach. If something needs chasing, fixing or moving forward, you’re on it.
