Job summary

NHS Shetland is hiring a Dietitian to join Britain's Northerly Dietetic Service in a substantive, full-time role. The post offers a 36-hour week with the possibility of part-time hours for the right candidate and a Band 5 salary with additional allowances.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse clinical caseload across adult and paediatric services, diabetes, nutrition support, and rehabilitation, while supporting student training and working within a small, collaborative team on

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration is required.
• Ability to work innovatively and flexibly to optimise outcomes within a small workforce.
• Newly qualified applicants will be supported to complete the Flying Start programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse clinical caseload across adult and paediatric services.
• Support training of dietetic students, medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Rotational caseload to provide structured introduction across clinical areas.
