About you:

Are you a Paediatric Dietitian experience in neonatal dietetics seeking a locum position in London? Look no further, Medacs Healthcare are seeking an experienced band 7 dietitian to support one of their prestigious NHS clients.

Job Summary:

• To collaborate with existing roles and further develop the dietetic role within neonatal services, ensuring dietetic presence at both sites
• To provide assessment, treatment and management for infants on the neonatal units and in follow-up clinics post discharge
• To ensure timely and appropriate onward referrals
• To work with the multidisciplinary team, providing teaching on specialist areas of knowledge both in informal and formal settings
• To work alongside therapy colleagues and the wider MDT to support and promote the role of AHPs in neonates
• To participate in service development, audit, QI initiatives particularly those that highlight the impact of a strong AHP workforce within neonatal services
• To provide teaching for more junior dietetic and therapy staff
• To collect and analyse data to evaluate the impact of the post and provide recommendations for future service planning

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Dietitian with:

• HCPC registration as a Dietitian
• Inpatient neonatal level 3 experience
• Paediatric general experience
• Paediatric Outpatients - general clinics
• Neonatal surgical unit experience
• Paediatric inpatients
• Access to Health Assured (mental health and wellbeing support).
• First access to shifts with the ability to block book shifts in advance.
